Our Great British Lake District has some of the most beautiful and dramatic landscapes and seascapes in Britain and its ancient, mystical and historical sites are second to none. On this unique three day tour, based on Neil’s book ‘The Lake District, A Megalithic Journey’, we will explore some of the classics of the Lakeland’s wealth of history and pre-history together with many of it’s little known gems. We will be staying at a high quality hotel on the High Street of the picturesque town of Keswick, surrounded by mountains and with its great atmosphere, numerous old fashion pubs and great assortment of restaurants.
