Lake District Weekend Tour

Ancient & Mystical Lake District Weekend

A Two Day Tour of the Ancient and Historical Sites of the Great British Lake District

Our Great British Lake District has some of the most beautiful and dramatic mountain landscapes and seascapes in Britain and its ancient, mystical and historical sites are second to none. On this unique weekend tour, based on Neil’s book, ‘The Lake District, A Megalithic Journey’, we will explore some of the classics of the Lakeland’s wealth of history and pre-history together with many of it’s little known gems.  We will be staying at the classic Shap Wells Hotel, situated in beautiful remote countryside, inhabited with red squirrels and surrounded by babbling brooks.
