Yorkshire’s Amazing Megaliths Tour

A Two Day Tour Megalithic Tour of Yorkshire’s Ancient & Historical Sites

Since before the Romans arrived in Britain Yorkshire was the centre of Brigantia, the home of the ancient tribes that revered the Goddess Bridget but three thousand years before this mighty stone monuments were being erected across the lands to mark sacred places and pilgrimage routes. We will head west through the Yorkshire countryside to the unique Druid’s Temple, then to the magnificent Devil’s Arrows Megalithic Stone Alignment and the huge Thornbourgh Henges, booth sitting on the ancient pilgrimage way known as the ‘Ur-Swale Plateau.
