6 Day Ancient Sites Tour
Whilst Northern Ireland is not well known as a centre for ancient sites, there are actually many amazing sites sitting quietly in fields right round the area; from small to huge stone circles, dolmens, henges to some fascinating holy and royal enclosures and mounds. In fact, Northern Ireland effortlessly stand its own as an important place to visit for any megalithic enthusiast.
After leaving Preston on the Monday afternoon our adventure will begin by taking the overnight ferry from Birkenhead to Belfast, with shared cabins (room only basis). On arrival we will be heading across to the famous Giant’s Causeway before taking in few sites and heading to our hotel (on a B&B basis) in the afternoon, our home whilst we are in N. Ireland.
We will then have three more full days exploring the ancient any mystical sites before catching the overnight ferry on the Friday night, arriving back in Liverpool at 06.30 on the Saturday and Preston an hour later.
Cost Includes: B&B in the hotels, ferry crossings. Travel in the minibus, Sits visits and Entrance Fees
